We are very excited to be able to offer instrument rentals through our partnership with La Jolla Music! With over 60 years of experience, La Jolla Music offers TOP QUALITY instruments as simple rentals or “rent to own”. Now, instead of driving all the way to La Jolla, you can stay right here in Poway and talk with the folks at Barefoot Studios. We’ll set up the rental and bring your instrument to you at our studio! Strings, Brass, Woodwinds, Percussion, Guitars and top brands like Yamaha, Eastman, Maple Leaf, Gemeinhardt, Selmer to name a few.

WE ARE OPEN!
We opened in May of 2022, but we aren’t really new to Poway and the surrounding areas. Sam Johnson (the owner of the studio) has been teaching private lessons in the area for over 20 years as well as working as a music coach in the Poway Unified School District for almost as long. Les Kepics (our trumpet teacher) has the same history in the area. Many of our teachers currently work for PUSD and have been teaching in the area for years! Look for us in the local community, and don’t be afraid to say HELLO!
